On The Today Show Monday morning, Newt “The Professor” Gingrich said President Obama’s handshake with Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez poses a grave threat to our national security. But one of his key claims — that American presidents didn’t “smile and greet” Russian dictators — was laughably false.
